Summary

0001692: Version masking to address stable versus beta version lines/series.

Description

Many products have different version lines/series for stable and beta products, that comes simultaneously during time.

If some version masking automation on client/server sides is done,
it would prevent users and server admins from being overloaded
by beta reports and management of false positives/negatives.

When more and more users would use SUMO and more application it manages,
it more significat gain can be archived.
