|Target Version||Long term|
|Summary||0004784: Scan will show different results|
|Description||I have several versions of a software installed.|
When I start SUMo then all will be shown as 'OK'
But when I click 'Scan' then I get suddenly different results and all older versions will be shown as NOT up-to-date.
From what I would expect SUMo is reporting correctly after the start.
But Scan is mixing things up.
|Additional Information||I would except (and perhaps this would be the better way of reporting) if SUMo would list these programs with minor or major updates in the case they are not in the same (additional) folder.|
I have ddefined additional search folders: 'D:\MyTools' and 'F:\Tools'
a) D:\MyTools\Program A v6\*.*
b) D:\MyTools\Program A v7\*.*
c) F:\Tools\Program A v6\*.*
Lets assume that v7 (b) is up-to-date. So 'b' will be reported as OK
'a' should be also reported as up-to-date since it is in the same additional folder as 'b'
'c' has the same version as 'a' but since it was found in another addiional folder SUMo should reported that an update is available.
Not sure which logic SUMo is using at the moment.

Btw - if I click check after scan then all is showing 'normal' (like directly after the start).
Is this by purpose and scan is simple but fast (with less intelligence)?
