DescriptionI installed Amazon Corretto as an alternative to Oracle's JVM. It shows in Control Panel as Amazon Corretto v1.8.0.192, but although I got SUMo to perform a scan after the installation was complete, SUMo doesn't show it in the list of install programs.

What if you drag'n'drop its shortcut into SUMo ?

I created a shortcut for javaw.exe (by default none is created when installing), and dragged it into SUMo. That works, thanks - didn't realise is was an option. It now shows in the SUMo window as

Product: OpenJDK Platform binary (64 bits)
Company: N/A
Version: 8.0.1920.12
Update: OK

How about the problem of the install not being detected by a scan?

SUMo detects shortcuts on desktop & start menu by default. Therefore : no shortcuts => no detection
