Summary0005249: Scan Setting For Additional Folders Not Showing Additional Folders
DescriptionWhen I click on "Settings" and then click on "Additional Folders" there is nothing showing even tho I had set additional folders in the past.

I am trying to remove some additional folders and nothing shows to be removed.

I clicked "Reset" and nothing happens.

SUMO still scans all folders that I had or have set up to be scanned even tho I do not want it to scan certain folders anymore.

Other than that.....great program except occasionally there will be a false update available.

Are you using SUMo "installed" or "portable" version ?
What if you manually add an aditional folder... will it appear in the list ?

reporter   ~0003133 bad kinda.

I used SUMO everyday to check for updates to programs on my system.

I have 2 hard drives that I was is the system (C:\ drive) (Windows 10)....the other is a data drive (F:\ drive) with various programs that are not essential to the system but that i can start manually to complete various tasks.

I was reviewing the list of programs that SUMO has when it starts up and scans and noticed there were some programs from the data drive F:\.

I did not want them scanned or checked any longer so I looked at "Additional Folders" thinking that I could remove the F: drive from being scanned.

But it was not there.

That's when I thought that SUMO was not operating correctly.

I did as you suggested.....added F:\ drive to the "Additional Folders" and ran the program. It scanned and completed both C: and F: drives.

I then looked at "Additional Folders" and F: drive was still there and I removed it.

I ran the program again and the listing is still showing programs from the F: drive.

Apparently I need to be able to refresh the listing somehow to remove the programs from the F: drive that i no longer need scanned.

Sorry for the confusion but being sorta techno challenged.....well.....sorry.

Any help is appreciated.

I think I got it figured out.

I selected all and told SUMO to remove.

I asked if I wanted to ignore.....I said no.

It deleted the listing.

I re-scanned and only got the programs I wanted from my C: drive.

WOO HOO!!!!!

Problem solved.
