|Target Version||5.9.2||Fixed in Version|
|Summary||0005477: Change window width of popup windows for checking and scanning to the width of main window so that the whole text becomes readab|
|Description||There seems to be a hard coded fixed value for popup windows like loading, scanning, checking and auto-update. For the 1st and the last such window, seems to be ok. But that doesn't hold for the other two popup windows. They're smaller than the text displayed Please make these windows large enough to read the whole text, see attached screenshot!|
There seem different solutions possible. One solution would be to automatically adapt window size to text size. This solution may have some performance impact though. Another solution may be to use the same width as is used for the main window in the background. At the time of scanning, you cannot know the largest text length before detection as opposed to checking. So as long as this popup window width is fixed, it should not be a hard coded value but instead reuse the width of the main window.
This bug is not addressed with the update to version 5.9.1 of SUMo (and is not claimed as not reported before).
