Summary0006753: Support for Topaz Labs softwares
DescriptionTopaz Labs software is not detected by Sumo during SCAN or CHECK.

See https://topazlabs.com/downloads/ for this popular photography software of which there are currently 8 products.

Would like to see these softwares added to SUMO database for updates.

What's the error if you drag'n'drop their exe onto SUMo ?

No error is shown. (1) Drag and drop does not work at all, I get a forbidden icon (circle with line) when dragging the exe to the Sumo window icon on taskbar (2) Using the ADD function from SUMO and selecting the Topaz executables returns no error, the list of apps refreshes but the Topaz executable is not found in the list.

Does their exe file has all the details (Product Name + Company + Version) in Windows Explorer > Properties > Details ?

No they dont. All those fields are blank. I will send an email through to the Developers and raise it with them I think.

Developers notified & has been put forward as a feature request for future releases. They noted " This seems to differ from one machine to another even on the same OS - Windows 10 (also the fields can be different). " with an included screenshot from one of their machines showing the fields populated and their rep indicated "I'm going to share this as a feature request with the development team to see if they can populate that information in future updates. While we can not add every suggestion right away, we do take each request seriously and take them into careful consideration as development cycles to the system are planned."
