Summary0006785: SUMo is detecting Malwarebytes as outdated (but it's not)
DescriptionI have looked at SUMo and pictures below show that I use outdated version. But I have latest version when looking inside Malwarebytes.
Steps To ReproduceCheck for updates, and Malwarebytes is outdated even if It's not outdated.

bug in MalwareBytes. Uninstall and re-install 4.4.7 to get it correctly installed.

I am also having this problem. I installed Malwarebytes 4.4.7.134 several days ago. SUMo 5.14.0.505 was showing me as being the latest version both yesterday and today. I just installed SUMo 5.14.1.508 and now Malwarebytes is showing that I am on Malwarebytes 4.4.6.132 when I am really on 4.4.7.134.

I meant that SUMo is showing that I am on Malwarebytes 4.4.6.132 when I am really on 4.4.7.134. Why would it have showed that I was on the latest version in SUMo 5.14.0.505 but not in SUMo 5.14.1.508?

Malwarebytes is working fine on my machine and updated without any issues to the latest release. What is the bug you are referring to? I hate to uninstall and re-install MB as it wipes out all settings and history when you do that.

See post above : bug in MB installer. Did uninstall/reinstall fixed it ?

We cross posted.

Yes but their installer is bugguy and does not update version in the appropriate registry section... and leaves 4.4.6 when installing 4.4.7 ...
