DUMo shows that I need this update with that version number but it's nowhere to be found and other driver update progs don't show it, either, yet it appears at least two people have it, per this:
https://www.kcsoftwares.com/dumo/view.p ... el&OS=10.0
If it exists, then where did they find it? Neither Google nor DuckDuckGo come up with it, Station-Drivers.com doesn't have it, and Device Manager says I have the latest version installed, v6.0.0.1342

OK, here's a weird update.
Per Snappy Driver Installer, it said to "update" that driver with v5.5.4.1036 (date 4/9/2019) which, even though it's a lower version number, it's a newer (read: more recent) version, so I did.
DUMo is perfectly happy with that, so apparently, I needn't worry about finding the elusive v6.1.0.1226 after all!
So, yeah, I'll disregard, heehee

Intel is known to sometimes not provide consistent date or version information. This leads to situations where Windows device manager updates an Intel driver to a lower version as its release date is more recent and while Intel Driver and Support Assistant doesn't take the release date into account and considers the higher version number as more recent. I further observed that once, I had an Intel driver on my notebook which claims being released by Intel half a year before that company has been founded, and once an Intel driver on my notebook which claims being released half a year later (hence in the future) as the install date although being released and claimed current by Windows device manager as well as by Inter Driver and Support Assistant.Revvie Quar wrote: ↑Mon Jun 10, 2019 9:32 pm OK, here's a weird update.
