SUMo Actions explained : Skip, Delete, Ignore

- Delete : Removes item from list. Will appear again on next scan or manually addition
- Ignore : Blacklist : this Software/company pair will never appear again, whatever the version, file path, ...
- Skip : Items remains listed but a SPECIFIC version gets no longer notified as update for a given time (1 day / week / month) or forever.

One feature that is missing from the 'Skip updates" option is an option to skip all future updates rather than just the current one.

I know there is the ignore list option which would create the same effect, but it also removes the program from SuMO's program list, but I'd prefer that it stay listed in the list.

Right now it seems that my only option now is to keep ignoring each individual update as it comes it.

Delete behaves exactly the same as Ignore. If I delete something, it is added to the Ignore list. Looks like a bug, although the program actually reports this when trying to delete:

"Do you want to permanently delete these items (ignore)?

Are you sure ? Is it reproductible on your system ?

Yes, but it looks like I made a mistake. I always selected Yes to the prompt. Selecting No acts as Delete. It's a bit counter-intuitive because selecting No means you are doing something different than what you selected, but it's not really an issue.
