Exclude a folder / dir?

I'd love it if a way to permanently exclude a folder / dir from any sort of scan from SUMo. Ones like C:\Backup\

My computer shop backuped a lot of files from an old HDD to C:\Backup\, so I'd love to be able to exclude this folder from any C:\ scan, or similar, please..
