Ist SharewareOnSale not legit? Sumo Server unavailable

I've two questions:

1) Since some days the Server for checking is a newer sofware is available isn't available.
2) I got a license key from a giveaway-site, but it seems not longer legit. The username is SharewareOnSale. Is this not legit?
If the administrator need the page I get the key, let me know. I'll send you a PN. Don't want to post the page, because I din't want to spread a possible scam site. (For now the site seems legit)

1) May I have more details ?
2) SharewareOnSale is fully legit. However, giveaways are usually limited to current branch (5.15.x ...) and "breaks" if you attempt to use them on a newer branch (5.16.x)

If Sumo wants to begin checking for updates I get the error:

I also want to change some settings, but if I click the "OK"-Button nothing happens.

I also redownloaded Sumo (Portable Version).

Please send me SUMo logs after enabling debug mode in settings.
Any AV or firewall blocking SUMo ?
Does full uninstall + reinstall solves the issue ?

I can't, because if I go into Settings and click the "OK"-Button nothing happens. Also by clicking the X-Button.
I have to close Sumo with the Task Manager.

Is there a way to start Sumo in Debug-Mode with an parameter?

I use Windows 10, 21H2 and no external Antivirus or Firewall program. Only the Windows integrated.
I only use the portable version. I tested it from starting two different folder locations.
