Slow on new laptop

I recently had to buy a new laptop. I installed the pro version of SUMo, and it runs very slow compared to the previous laptop. It used to scan and check everything within the space of a few seconds. But with the new install it looks like it runs through the scan three times before it gets to checking, and takes about a minute before it finally stops. Settings are the same as on the old laptop (see screenshot).
