Part 1: So, some confusion resulting from this Win 7 design feature:
Context menus are shortened when more than 15 files are selected
Following that MS knowledge article:
1. I first set MultipleInvokePromptMinimum to 16 (unlimited). But while this allows me unrestricted right-click menus, the menus are in fact meaningless above 16 files. According to MS, this "does not allow the actual opening of the documents selected if selecting more than 16". Geniuses saving me from myself, once again.
2. I then set this MultipleInvokePromptMinimum to 30, instead, to have a reasonable number without leading to Win Explorer "not responding" (as it did for me with a decimal setting of 50 files).
That much is simply for others to know, in case anyone else is mystified as well by this Win 7 benevolence.
Part 2: Query to KC Software:
Is there any way to get around this odd Win 7 design, to make Zer0 right-click functionality work the way one might expect?

Re: MS Windows 7 file restriction & Zer0
I'd suggest to use drag'n'drop onto Zer0 instead.
Re: MS Windows 7 file restriction & Zer0
Indeed, Kyle, that's an excellent clarification. Drag'n'drop works as expected from folders or from WinExplorer "search" results.Kyle_Katarn wrote:I'd suggest to use drag'n'drop onto Zer0 instead.
The right-click access is mainly useful to get Zer0 open the first time.
So 2 alternative "workaround" workflows given Win7 design, just to get Zer0 open:
1 - right-click a single file and "Delete with Zero" (note: menu option is not spelled "Zer0")
2 - set a Win7 Shortcut key, such as Ctrl + Shft + Z (which I've done)
Then drag'n'drop.
Thanks!
